Went last year and the sisig is what id go back for. Budget around 100 to 150 per dish and bring cash, some stalls dont take cards. March heat means go early, the place gets packed and stuffy by noon.

Agree on cash, but the grilled pusit stall near the back is the sleeper pick and usually runs 120 or so.

That pusit stall also does a solid inihaw na liempo for around 130, but they sell out by early afternoon so dont bank on it late.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

pairs well with the atsara, 20 pesos extra

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

sisig's better before 10am, less crowd

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

The halo halo stall by the entrance is the real lifesaver in that March heat, around 80 pesos.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Yeah the stuffiness is real, aim for 8 or 9 instead and youll beat the lunch rush entirely.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

honestly the heat is the bigger issue than the crowd. i'd grab a cold buko pandan from one of the drink stalls first thing, it's maybe 60 pesos and makes the whole walk tolerable. also bring small bills, change is a pain there.

tbh ive only been once but the lechon kawali was the standout for me, think it was around 150 to 200 pesos. its a bit of a trek from Pasay tho so id only go if ur already heading that direction.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

fair shout on the trek, from Pasay you're looking at a grab ride or jeepney plus a walk. if you go, the crispy pata runs closer to 250 and feeds two, so it's not as cheap as the kawali. worth it if you're already in that area.

Grab a ride after 9, Mabini gets sketchy.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

yeah the side streets off quirino too

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Kalaw too, past midnight it's dead quiet.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

tbh even earlier around there is fine if u stick to the main road, it's the dark side streets that get me

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Fair point, though the stretch right by Zeny's stays lit till closing, it's the blocks south toward Remedios where it thins out.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

pedro gil side gets quiet too
