fwiw the Careem pickup zone changed last year, it's now on the ground floor of the parking structure instead of the old spot near the bus stop. the signs are tiny and faded so look for the blue pillar with the number 3, that's where drivers actually wait. also if you're landing after midnight, the prepaid taxi counter closes around 1 AM so you're stuck with whatever touts are outside, i always book a Careem before i land just to avoid that mess.
oh and for the hotel shuttles, most places in clifton will pick u up but u gotta call them right after u land, not before. i forgot once and they said too late, ended up taking a rickshaw with all my bags lol. also the green line metro thing is still not happening in 2026 tbh, they keep pushing it back so don't rely on that anytime soon

also for the Urdu Bazaar tip, go deeper into the lanes behind it, there's a guy who sells old postcards and maps from the British era for like 100 rupees each, he's usually there on Saturdays around 3pm. i found a hand-drawn map of Karachi from 1947 there once, framing it on my wall now
honestly this is a solid list, props for including Moosa Lane and Gizri Village most guides ignore those. one thing id add is the old Hindu Gymkhana building on M.A. Jinnah Road, its abandoned but the architecture is insane, you can peek through the gates and see the cracked dome and faded murals from the 1920s. security guard there is chill if you ask nicely to take a photo from the courtyard.
also for the Charna Island Viewpoint tip, try going on a weekday morning around 7am when the fishermen are bringing in their catch. there's this old guy who sells fresh coconut water from a cart near the rocks, only 50 rupees a coconut, way better than the sugary stuff at Clifton beach. the view is completely empty then, just you and the sea and a few stray cats sunbathing.
