Planning a Warri day trip, any suggestions?

I'll be in Warri next month with a free day and want to explore outside the city. Any recommendations for a good day trip spot, like a river or a historic site? honestly if you wanna get out of Warri for a day, head to Ajaokuta or the Niger River area near Lokoja. its about a 2-hour drive but the view of the river confluence is pretty cool. There's also the old colonial cemetery in Lokoja if you're into history bits. just bring cash, card readers are hit or miss out there.

skip the river stuff for a day and head to the old itsekiri kingdom sites in big warri. there's the olu palace and some old colonial buildings around the npa area, plus the warri museum has some cool artifacts from the pre-colonial era. it's all walkable if you start early, grab some fresh banga soup at a mama put joint near the market for lunch

if you're into water stuff, the Escravos River is closer and you can catch a boat to see the mangroves and oil rigs from a distance, it's a vibe. just find a guide at the river port, they'll sort u out for cheap.
