The pictures online are stunning, seriously stunning. But I noticed something weird, almost all the photos are from the outside. I've scoured the internet, and there are barely any interior shots or reviews mentioning what it's like inside. It's almost like...they're hiding something. Is there a reason why there's such a lack of interior photos/reviews? Is it secretly haunted?! Or just incredibly minimalist and boring? I'm dying to know what to expect before I book.

tbh a lot of those jungle villas near Puerto Morelos and Tulum are owned by folks who rent them out thru a management company and the listing photos come from whoever built the place, so interiors just never got shot. the cenote or rooftop is what pulls bookings so thats all they upload. ngl if its the Arsgan House I'm thinking of its out past the hotel zone toward the Ruta de los Cenotes, kinda isolated, so weak wifi and spotty cell are the real mystery not ghosts. ask the host for a video call walkthrough before u pay, and check if they charge extra for the cenote access, some do.

if its the one off the ruta de los cenotes past puerto morelos, thats a solid 40 min from cancun centro and u really need a car, taxis basically wont come out there at night. the no-interior-photos thing is usually just lazy listing management, but it can also mean the place is older than the exterior shots suggest, so ask for the year it was built & recent phone pics, not the pro shots. also confirm the exact km marker, some of those jungle spots share a name across two different roads and u dont wanna end up at the wrong gate at 9pm

I've driven past that stretch of the Riviera Maya a few times, and places like Arsgan House tend to be small boutique rentals run by a family or a management company that just never bothered with pro interior photography. Cancun-area listings often lean hard on the jungle and cenote views because that's what sells, and the owners figure the palm trees do the marketing for them. If you want real intel, message the host directly and ask for a walkthrough video or recent guest photos, and check the Google Maps reviews rather than just the booking site, since that's where people actually complain about things like weak AC or hard beds.

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.
