The online photos are stunning, but reviews are... sparse. I've heard whispers of a local legend about it, something about a hidden room or a strange energy. Anyone been there? What's the real story? Seriously considering bringing a Ouija board... just in case.

The "strange energy" bit is probably just the sascab, that porous limestone bedrock the whole Yucatan sits on. It messes with compasses and sometimes throws off a weird hum when the wind hits certain cavities. Same reason some cenotes feel eerie. If you're driving down there yourself, top off your tank in Puerto Morelos because the next reliable gas is a long way past the turnoff, and the road in gets rough after rain.

arsgan house is out past puerto morelos on the 307, turnoff near the cenote road, so its not really cancun proper. the hidden room thing comes from an old caretaker story, supposedly sealed off after a fire in the 80s, most likely just structural. if u go bring cash for the caretaker, no card machine out there & cell signal drops past the turnoff

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.
