So, I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a Tigres game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm a little worried about finding my s… So, I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a Tigres game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm a little worried about finding my seat. The online seating charts are... not great. Are there any easily accessible, reliable seating charts available somewhere, or is it just a case of winging it and hoping for the best? I'm used to stadiums where you can see exactly where your seat is beforehand. Maybe some locals can point me to some resources? I don't want to end up stuck behind a massive dude blocking my view the whole game.

fwiw the official Tigres site sometimes has a PDF seat map buried in the ticket section, but half teh time the link is dead. What actually helped me was pulling up the stadium on Google Maps satellite view and matching it to the sections, you can see the actual stand shapes and where the roof covers. If you're worried about a blocked view go for the lower rows in the corners, they're cheap and nobody big sits directly in front since the rake is steep. Also gates open like 2 hours before kickoff so you can walk to your section early and eyeball it before it fills up.

The Andrés Quintana Roo is small enough that honestly most seats are fine. It holds around 20,000 and the stands are steep so sightlines are good even in the upper sections. The Tigres games there (they play some home matches in Cancun) usually have the visiting supporters in the corner near Avenida Huayacán, and the shaded side is the west stand if you're going to an afternoon kickoff, that matters a lot in Cancun heat. If you buy through Ticketmaster MX the seat map is decent, otherwise just get general admission and move around a bit once you're in.

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.
