Uber actually works fine for getting there, the issue is only on the way back when surge hits and drivers cancel because of the traffic jam on Kabah. What I do is take an Uber there (usually 90 to 130 pesos from the hotel zone depending where you're staying) and then just walk out to Avenida Tulum afterward and grab a regular taxi, not a sitio one. The sitios parked right at the stadium are the ones quoting 400+, street taxis on Tulum will do it for 150ish.

For food, honestly the move is eating before you go. There's a place on SM 25 near the stadium, tortas de lechon, costs nothing and you skip the whole inside situation. Inside they do have decent salbutes and panuchos actually, not just hotdogs, but they run out by halftime so get them early. Beer is Victoria and Modelo, around 55 to 70 pesos.

Worth knowing that the stadium sits in SM 4, not the hotel zone, so you're looking at a solid 25 to 40 minute ride depending on traffic on Kabah. Rather than committing to one bus or taxi, I usually check the ride apps before leaving and take whichever is cheapest at that moment, because prices swing a lot around kickoff. Getting back is the real trap, so plan to leave a few minutes before the final whistle if you want to avoid the crowds and the marked-up taxis.

On the food side, the sit-down restaurants along Avenida Tulum near the stadium are a better bet than anything at the gates. There's a spot doing cochinita and lechon tortas for around 45 pesos that locals hit before games. Inside, they've got the usual stadium fare plus some Yucatecan snacks, but lines get long fast so eat beforehand if you can.

Honestly the cheapest hack is catching the R1 or R2 from Kukulcan and just telling the driver you're going to the stadium, they know the stop. One thing nobody mentioned, the game day traffic on Kabah is brutal so leave like 90 minutes before kickoff if you don't want to miss the first goal. For food inside, skip the main concourse and look for the stands near the corners, they do poc chuc tacos that are way better than the sad hotdog situation, and yes the beer is pricey but a Victoria is still cheaper than anything

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.
