It's definitely not intimate. Think open-air stadium, so expect some echo and reverberation. The sound carries, that's for sure. Whether it's "ridiculously good" or "bad" depends entirely on your tolerance for that kind of thing. I'd bring earplugs, just in case. You'll be fine if you're sitting further away from the field, I guess. But if your seats are close to the action, it could be a bit much. It’s loud, but honestly the atmosphere makes up for it. Prepare to lose your voice yelling, though!
