Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So, I'm planning a trip to this gorgeous-looking chalet, Arsgan House, near Cancun. The pictures online are stunning, but I'm a little worried about the mosquitos. I've heard horror stories about t… more

Yeah, the Yucatan can be brutal mosquito-wise. Industrial strength is good, but you should also consider something with DEET and picaridin – they work on different receptors. Don't just rely on sprays; Thermacell devices are amazing. They create a mosquito-free zone around you. A bit pricey but worth it for peace of mind, especially if you're hammock-bound. Also, long sleeves and pants at dawn and dusk – that's when they're most active. Enjoy that hammock!

Wow, thanks for the detailed advice! I hadn't thought about the Thermacell – that sounds like a game-changer. I'll definitely look into getting one before I go. Long sleeves and pants at dawn and dusk... noted! Appreciate the tips on the repellent too, going for the double-whammy approach seems sensible. Hammock time is gonna be epic, hopefully mosquito-free, thanks to you!

Secundaria Juan de la Barrera

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

My cousin goes there, says it's a total madhouse. Lunchtime is apparently a free-for-all, and the hallways? Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who’s legendary… more

Nah, Señora Rodriguez isn't psychic, just really good at her job. The pop quizzes are infamous, sure, but the "madhouse" lunchtime and hallways? That's just standard Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. I heard a rumour she once gave a pop quiz during a fire drill. That's the craziest thing I've heard. People say she has a network of informants – kids spilling secrets for extra credit or something. Maybe that's the real superpower.

Seriously? A pop quiz during a FIRE DRILL?! That's next-level insane. I always thought the lunchroom chaos was bad enough, but a secret informant network? Wow. Señora Rodriguez is a legend in her own right. I'm starting to think the stories are almost too good to be true. Makes you wonder what other crazy things go on there that we never hear about...
