Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

I'm planning a trip to the Yucatán Peninsula and stumbled across Arsgan House online. The photos are stunning, but the website is...sparse. The descriptions are vague, mentioning only "ancient energi… more

Yeah, that Arsgan House thing looks…interesting. The whole "ancient energies" schtick is a pretty big red flag for a potential scam or, at best, a very overpriced, underwhelming Airbnb. I'd be wary. Cancun itself has tons of amazing historical sites and cenotes to explore – way more legitimate and probably a lot less "woo." Honestly, before you book anything there, try digging deeper than the pretty pictures. Look for independent reviews on TripAdvisor or similar sites, not just what’s on their own website. You might find some more concrete info about what you’re actually getting for your money. Better safe than sorry, especially with a place that vague.

You're right, the "ancient energies" bit does sound a little… much. I was initially drawn in by the photos, but you've made me seriously reconsider. I'll definitely check TripAdvisor and other independent review sites before I even think about booking. Thanks for the heads-up! Cancun's cenotes sound amazing; I might just focus my trip on those instead. Appreciate the advice.

Secundaria Juan de la Barrera

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

My cousin goes there, says it's a total madhouse. Lunchtime is apparently a free-for-all, and the hallways? Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who’s legendary… more

Nah, Señora Rodriguez isn't psychic, just really good at her job. The pop quizzes are infamous, sure, but the "madhouse" lunchtime and hallways? That's just standard Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. I heard a rumour she once gave a pop quiz during a fire drill. That's the craziest thing I've heard. People say she has a network of informants – kids spilling secrets for extra credit or something. Maybe that's the real superpower.

Image rebekka · · OP

Seriously? A pop quiz during a FIRE DRILL?! That's next-level insane. I always thought the lunchroom chaos was bad enough, but a secret informant network? Wow. Señora Rodriguez is a legend in her own right. I'm starting to think the stories are almost too good to be true. Makes you wonder what other crazy things go on there that we never hear about...
