Been reading reviews, mostly positive, but one mentioned strange noises at night, not the usual party sounds. People described them as almost...whispering, or like something rustling in the palm trees. Anyone stayed there who can shed some light on this? I'm a light sleeper, so a bit worried! Is it just the wind, or something else entirely...?

Sounds creepy! Could be anything from the local wildlife, iguanas are surprisingly noisy at night, to the wind playing tricks in the palm trees. The resort is pretty big, so maybe the noises are coming from a distant part of the property and sound closer than they are. I've stayed in resorts in @Mexico before, and those nighttime sounds are often more atmospheric than genuinely spooky. But hey, pack earplugs just in case. Better safe than sorry, especially if you're a light sleeper.

Yeah, that's a good point about the wildlife and the size of the resort. I hadn't thought about the sounds echoing. Iguanas are surprisingly loud, I've heard! It's probably nothing, but part of me is hoping for some mildly spooky, mysterious fun. Earplugs are definitely a good idea though, I'm a terrible sleeper. Thanks for the advice!

Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who's legendary for her pop quizzes. Seriously, he's convinced she can predict the future. So my question is: what's the craziest rumour you've heard about Señora Rodriguez and her pop quizzes at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera? Is she actually psychic...?

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.

I don't know about psychic but a friend swears she once gave a quiz on a chapter nobody had been assigned yet.
