I've heard stories...whispers...about a certain legendary hot dog vendor who only appears during big matches. They say his dogs are... otherworldly. Seriously, people talk about them like they're some kind of mythical creature. Has anyone actually encountered this legendary vendor? What's the secret?! I need to know before I go, otherwise I'll be seriously disappointed. I'm already picturing myself, disappointed, face buried in a sadly average stadium frankfurter. The horror!

I've never heard about a mythical hot dog vendor, but I can tell you where the real action is. Walk over to the north entrance on Avenida Bonampak after the third inning and look for a woman named Doña Chayo who sells tortas de pierna. They're not hot dogs, but her salsa verde is the kind of thing people actually write home about. If you're set on a hot dog, the guys with the carts on Calle 20 near the stadium do a decent one with grilled onions and jalapenos, nothing supernatural though.

ok so i've actually seen this guy once, during the playoffs two years ago. he sets up on the south side near the bleachers, like right where the concrete ramp meets the fence. his cart has a faded yellow umbrella and he only does like 50 dogs then he's gone. the secret is he puts this habanero crema on it that's house made, not that bottled stuff. if you wanna find him you gotta get there early, like gates open early, and look for the line of locals who aren't watching batting practice

Dude, seriously? Otherworldly hot dogs? That's amazing. I've been to tons of games at the Estadio Quintana Roo, and I've never heard of this. Maybe it's a total myth, a Cancun legend passed down through generations of overly-excited baseball fans.

Or...maybe it's real and I've just been sitting in the wrong section the whole time. I'm gonna have to investigate this next time I'm there. Keep me posted if you find anything! I'll be stalking online forums, too. We gotta solve this mystery!

Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who's legendary for her pop quizzes. Seriously, he's convinced she can predict the future. So my question is: what's the craziest rumour you've heard about Señora Rodriguez and her pop quizzes at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera? Is she actually psychic...?

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.

I don't know about psychic but a friend swears she once gave a quiz on a chapter nobody had been assigned yet.
