So I finally got to stay at Arsgan House, this charming little chalet near Cancun. The place was gorgeous, seriously, pictures don't do it justice. Spent a day swimming, sunbathing...pretty standard s… So I finally got to stay at Arsgan House, this charming little chalet near Cancun. The place was gorgeous, seriously, pictures don't do it justice. Spent a day swimming, sunbathing...pretty standard stuff. But then, I found this old wooden box tucked away in a cupboard. It was locked, naturally. Inside, I think, based on a tiny glimpse through a crack, there were old photos and some kind of journal. The whole thing felt...off. Anyone else stayed there and stumbled across something similar? What was in that box?!

honestly never heard of arsgan house, been living here 10 years and that name doesnt ring a bell. there are a few older finca-style places out by puerto morelos though, maybe u got your wires crossed on the name. if its a legit mystery box, id check with the front desk first, some places leave guestbooks or time capsules for returning visitors. also, that area gets humid as hell, whatever was in there is prob moldy by now if it was hidden long enough.

huh weird i stayed at a place near cancun last year called casa de los arboles and found a similar box but it was just old receipts and a map from like 2005. maybe it's a thing owners do for fun

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.
