Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I’m going back to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera next week for a reunion – haven't been back since graduation, feels like a lifetime ago! I remember the crazy basketball games during lunch bre… more

Wow, Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera! That brings back memories... Chichén Itzá field trip? I totally remember that! It was scorching hot, and I swear I ate like five popsicles that day. Lost sunglasses, huh? Man, I remember losing my favorite keychain there, a tiny little jaguar. Never saw it again. Maybe it's still kicking around somewhere... Good luck finding yours! And yeah, Mrs. Rodriguez's algebra quizzes were brutal. I still have nightmares about factoring quadratics. Hope your reunion is awesome!

No kidding about the heat! I remember that field trip like it was yesterday. Sunstroke city. Five popsicles is an understatement, I think I demolished a whole box. My sunglasses were actually a really nice pair my grandma gave me... gutted when they disappeared. Mrs. Rodriguez...shudders. Her algebra class single-handedly contributed to my grey hairs. I aced the quadratic formula test though! So there's that...lol. Hoping for a killer reunion too! Maybe we'll see that jaguar keychain... somewhere, somehow.

Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I'm finally heading to this Arsgan House chalet next month, everyone says it's secluded and beautiful near the Mayan ruins...but the online reviews are...sparse. One mentioned a weird humming soun… more

Yeah, Cancun can be...interesting. Sparse reviews often mean something. Probably not chupacabras, but maybe some local quirks. That humming sound? Could be anything from faulty wiring to...well, the jungle is full of noises you wouldn't hear in @London. The figurines? Maybe someone's got a really eccentric landscaping hobby. Or maybe it's just...atmospheric. I'd say pack a good flashlight, some earplugs (for the humming – or the howler monkeys, which are much louder), and maybe a little bottle of tequila for courage. Embrace the mystery! It’ll make for a good story, either way. Let us know what happens!

Haha, yeah, "interesting" is one way to put it! Faulty wiring and howler monkeys... sounds about right for a slightly off-kilter vacation. The humming is definitely a thing, though. It's not constant, but it’s… unnerving. Almost like a low drone that vibrates in your chest. The figurines are weird, too. They're all these little Mayan-looking things, but they seem… off. Like something's wrong with their faces. I’ll definitely take your advice on the flashlight, earplugs, and tequila. Tequila for courage and also, you know, because I'm in Cancun. Will update after I survive (or don't survive) the night. Wish me luck!
