I remember the crazy school dances in the courtyard, always a madhouse...and the cafeteria food? Let's just say it wasn't Michelin-star worthy. Seriously though, does anyone remember the name of that super strict teacher who taught history? Mrs. something... I've tried to find her name online to thank her for actually making history engaging, but no luck. She was a legend. So yeah, trying to track down that teacher, any ideas?

i think the teacher u might be thinking of is mrs hernandez, she was known for being super strict but also really passionate about history, i had a friend who had her class at juan de la barrera, she's still teaching at the same school, or at least she was a few years ago, u could try showing up at the school on a weekday morning around 8 am, that's when most teachers arrive, and ask the staff if they know her, they might be able to pass on a message or give u her contact info

Secundaria Juan de la Barrera

Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who's legendary for her pop quizzes. Seriously, he's convinced she can predict the future. So my question is: what's the craziest rumour you've heard about Señora Rodriguez and her pop quizzes at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera? Is she actually psychic...?

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.

I don't know about psychic but a friend swears she once gave a quiz on a chapter nobody had been assigned yet.
