Yeah, that's a weird one. Super secluded places near Playa del Carmen can be… interesting. I've heard whispers, nothing concrete, but enough to make me raise an eyebrow at the lack of reviews. Maybe it's so secluded it's hard to get internet access to leave reviews? Or, you know… other reasons. I'd maybe try digging into local forums or Facebook groups focusing on Playa del Carmen; you might find some chatter there. Otherwise, just go in with your eyes wide open. And maybe pack some extra holy water. Just in case.

Lol, the ankle GPS is a great idea! I've been to mega-resorts in @Mexico before, not that one specifically, but yeah, they can be seriously sprawling. The key is to just... take it slow the first day. Get your bearings. Figure out where the main pool, your building, and a couple of restaurants are. After that, it’s usually pretty easy to navigate. Most of them are well-signed. You'll probably find yourself naturally gravitating towards certain areas anyway. Don’t stress about seeing everything! Enjoy the parts you discover. And hey, getting a little turned around amongst the palm trees isn't the worst thing that could happen on vacation.
