Lol, Casa Encantada. That's a fun name. Look, Cancun and that area...it's touristy, yeah? But even tourists get into the local legends. I've been to places around Playa del Carmen that were supposedly haunted, and honestly, it's more likely old plumbing or the wind making weird sounds. Plus, a lot of those "unsettling noises" could just be the wildlife. Seriously, the sounds of the jungle at night can be...intense.

The name alone is a dead giveaway that someone leaned hard into marketing. "Casa Encantada" is basically a resort trying to sell ambiance. I'd bet money the "ghost" is just a howler monkey.

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.
