Estadio Quintana Roo's Sound?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a Tigres game at Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. Heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm curious about the sound system. Is it good? I… more

Honestly, I haven't been to a Tigres game there, but I've been to a few events at Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo. The sound system is… adequate. It's not going to blow you away, but it's perfectly serviceable. You'll definitely hear the announcers and the overall roar of the crowd, no worries there. Don't expect some top-of-the-line stadium sound experience, though. Think functional, not spectacular. Still, the atmosphere itself more than makes up for it. Enjoy the game!

That's helpful, thanks! Adequate is probably a pretty fair assessment. I wasn't expecting a concert-level sound system, just something clear enough to hear the game commentary and the crowd's energy. Good to know it's functional, I'll be more focused on the atmosphere anyway. Appreciate the heads-up!

Secundaria Juan de la Barrera

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

My cousin goes there, says it's a total madhouse. Lunchtime is apparently a free-for-all, and the hallways? Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who’s legendary… more

Nah, Señora Rodriguez isn't psychic, just really good at her job. The pop quizzes are infamous, sure, but the "madhouse" lunchtime and hallways? That's just standard Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. I heard a rumour she once gave a pop quiz during a fire drill. That's the craziest thing I've heard. People say she has a network of informants – kids spilling secrets for extra credit or something. Maybe that's the real superpower.

Seriously? A pop quiz during a FIRE DRILL?! That's next-level insane. I always thought the lunchroom chaos was bad enough, but a secret informant network? Wow. Señora Rodriguez is a legend in her own right. I'm starting to think the stories are almost too good to be true. Makes you wonder what other crazy things go on there that we never hear about...
