Heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm curious, how much does the sound of the crowd actually carry outside the stadium? I'm staying in a hotel a few blocks away and wondering if I'll be able to hear the roar of the crowd from my balcony, or if it's pretty well contained. I'm a huge sports fan and would love a little auditory pre-game ambience!

yeah youll def hear it from a few blocks away, especially if it's a late afternoon game when the sound carries better with the humidity. i live like 4 blocks east on avenida yaxchilan and can always catch the drums and the "olé" chants during big plays, it's not constant but it adds a nice vibe to the evening. just dont expect to make out individual conversations or anything, it's more like a distant party you're not invited to yet

Depends on the game and how packed it is, honestly. A big match with a full stadium? Yeah, you'll probably hear some of the noise a few blocks away. Think more a low rumble than a full-on roar, though. It won't be deafening on your balcony, but you might notice a noticeable hum if you're paying attention. Smaller games? Probably not much at all.

The sound definitely leaks out on match days, especially if it's a big rivalry game. I've been in a cab on Avenida Bonampak during a match and could hear the chanting clearly with the windows down. You won't get a full game experience from your balcony, but you'll catch the peaks like a goal or a close call. If your hotel is on the north side of the stadium, you'll hear more since the open end of the bowl faces that direction.

Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who's legendary for her pop quizzes. Seriously, he's convinced she can predict the future. So my question is: what's the craziest rumour you've heard about Señora Rodriguez and her pop quizzes at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera? Is she actually psychic...?

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.

I don't know about psychic but a friend swears she once gave a quiz on a chapter nobody had been assigned yet.
