It really depends on where you're sitting. Upper levels are generally better than the lower bowl – less echo. My last game there, a couple years back, the sound was decent but not amazing. You could hear the announcers okay, but the crowd roar was sometimes a bit swallowed up. Definitely not crystal clear, but you shouldn't miss crucial plays unless you're super far away or in a particularly bad spot. It's not a state-of-the-art system, but it's functional. Maybe bring earplugs if you're sensitive to loud noises, the atmosphere is intense.

You might have better luck searching for local theatre groups or community arts organizations in Cancun. Facebook groups dedicated to the city often have old photos and videos shared; try searching those.
