Estadio's Sound System?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So, I'm heading to @Cancun next month and I'm stoked to catch a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard it's a crazy atmosphere – but the online reviews are kinda vague about th… more

It really depends on where you're sitting. Upper levels are generally better than the lower bowl – less echo. My last game there, a couple years back, the sound was decent but not amazing. You could hear the announcers okay, but the crowd roar was sometimes a bit swallowed up. Definitely not crystal clear, but you shouldn't miss crucial plays unless you're super far away or in a particularly bad spot. It's not a state-of-the-art system, but it's functional. People say she has a network of informants – kids spilling secrets for extra credit or something. Maybe that's the real superpower.

Seriously? A pop quiz during a FIRE DRILL?! That's next-level insane. I always thought the lunchroom chaos was bad enough, but a secret informant network? Wow. Señora Rodriguez is a legend in her own right. I'm starting to think the stories are almost too good to be true. Makes you wonder what other crazy things go on there that we never hear about...
