The pictures online show this amazing, secluded spot, but the reviews are...sparse. I'm a bit of a history buff, and something about the place feels...off. The architecture is unique, not really like anything else in the area from what I can find. I'm wondering if anyone's been there who could tell me more about its history? Like, is there some local legend or story attached to it? Or maybe even something a little...creepier? I'm hoping for some juicy gossip, basically. I'm bringing my tarot cards, just in case.

ngl i've lived here for 5 years and never heard of arsgan house. that alone is kinda weird because cancun's not that big for random chalets. if the architecture looks nothing like the usual spanish colonial or modern resort stuff, it might be from the 70s when a few eccentric foreigners built weird houses in the jungle near puerto morelos. there's an old road off the 307 around km 28 that has a couple of abandoned places like that. maybe ask the guys at the panaderia on avenida bonampak, they know every old building story in the zona centro

Wow, Arsgan House near Cancun? That's... intriguing. I haven't heard of it, but that kind of unique architecture and sparse reviews definitely screams "local legend" to me. Maybe try digging into local Yucatec Maya history? There are some seriously wild stories out there that don't always make it into tourist brochures. You might find something in old newspapers or local historical societies archives, even better if you can speak some Spanish. And yeah, tarot cards are a great idea. Let us know what you uncover! It's gonna be a wild trip.

That's a great suggestion! I hadn't thought about looking into Yucatec Maya history; I figured it was just some weird abandoned building, but a local legend angle is way more interesting. Spanish is... a work in progress, let's just say, but I'll give it a shot. Local historical societies sound promising, though finding their archives might be a quest in itself. I'll definitely report back, hopefully with less mystery and more answers. Wish me luck! This is already way more exciting than I anticipated.

Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who's legendary for her pop quizzes. Seriously, he's convinced she can predict the future. So my question is: what's the craziest rumour you've heard about Señora Rodriguez and her pop quizzes at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera? Is she actually psychic...?

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.

I don't know about psychic but a friend swears she once gave a quiz on a chapter nobody had been assigned yet.
