Secundaria Mysteries?

They said it's got some... interesting history. Apparently, it's an old school building, and there are all sorts of local legends about it. I'm not into ghost hunting or anything, but I'd love to hear any firsthand accounts from people who went to school there. What's the weirdest thing that ever happened at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera?

the school is on av nader but thats not really the interesting part, its that the building sits right where an old cenote mouth used to be before they filled it in for the cimentación back in the 60s. some of the older teachers would talk about humidity coming up through the floor tiles in the back classrooms near the cancha, like the ground never fully dried. so a lot of the "weird" stuff people swear they saw is probably just that, a very old building sitting on soft wet ground in a city built on limestone. if u go just check the back hallway by the bodega, thats where it feels the most off

honestly I went there for 2 years in the late 90s and the "legends" are mostly just old building noises and kids messing around. It's on Av. Nader near the cruce with Uxmal, downtown, and the place is genuinely old, like 1960s construction with those open-air pasillos. The weirdest real thing was the power cutting out during afternoon turno when the CFE grid got overloaded in summer, whole classrooms in the dark for 20 min. Not ghosts, just Cancun infrastructure.

Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who's legendary for her pop quizzes. Seriously, he's convinced she can predict the future. So my question is: what's the craziest rumour you've heard about Señora Rodriguez and her pop quizzes at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera? Is she actually psychic...?

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.

I don't know about psychic but a friend swears she once gave a quiz on a chapter nobody had been assigned yet.
