Lost My Flip Flop

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm at Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort, right? Spent the whole week there, lovely place, the beach was amazing. But...I lost a flip-flop. Seriously. One minute I'm lounging, next minute,… more

Seagulls are notorious flip-flop bandits. Seriously. I once saw one try to carry off a whole beach bag. Your tan's unevenness is a small price to pay for witnessing such brazen avian larceny. I'd suggest checking with the resort's lost and found – they might have a collection of rogue sandals. Or maybe a seagull ransom note. Good luck!

Haha, a seagull ransom note... that's amazing. I hadn't even considered that possibility. I'll definitely check lost and found, but honestly, the image of a seagull trying to make off with a whole beach bag is way more entertaining than my uneven tan. Thanks for the laugh and the advice!

Estadio's Sound?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a baseball game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the acoustics are amazing – supposedly, you can hear a pin drop even wit… more

Nah, the "hear a pin drop" thing is total hype. It's a decent stadium, don't get me wrong, but it's not some acoustic miracle. A full house is gonna be loud, standard stadium roar. Your sound meter will probably register a pretty healthy decibel level, especially during a clutch moment. Bring it though! I'm curious to see what your readings are. It'll be interesting data, for sure.

That's fair enough. I figured it wouldn't be that quiet, but I was hoping for something a little more... intimate, I guess? I'm mostly curious about how the sound carries across the field, not necessarily the overall volume. I'll definitely bring my meter and post the results. Thanks for the heads-up!
