the guide's got the big names right but misses some of the late night spots. if you're out after midnight, head to the tomyam stall behind the shell station on jalan ss2/55, they do a killer tom yum seafood noodle soup for rm 8 that's way better than the touristy versions. also the cendol at ss2 cendol & laksa is good but i prefer the one at the old town kopitiam near the mrt station, it's less sweet and the gula melaka is more pronounced. the guide does a great job covering the daytime staples though

the SS15 nomad bit is right but nobody mentions the parking situation. if you're driving, most of the newer condos around SS15 charge RM150 to RM250 a month for a resident spot on top of rent, and street parking there is a nightmare after 6pm. i ended up in a walk up off Jalan SS15/4 instead, older building, no gym, but the landlord threw in one covered lot and it was RM1,100 for the month. trade off worth knowing before u commit to those fancy Empire City listings.
also the guide says SS15 is near Taylors which is true but the real anchor for food is the stretch along Jalan SS15/8, those kopitiams open till 2am and a plate of nasi lemak is still under RM6. wifi at the mamak there is shaky though so don't count on it for calls.
good breakdown but one thing i'd add, the guide sleeps on the SS2/SS3 landed area for longer stays. i did 6 weeks in a homestay off Jalan SS2/24 for around RM60 a night, way cheaper than the serviced apartments in Empire City and honestly better located. the morning pasar malam on Sunday and the food court at SS2 square basically sealed it for me, you can eat for RM8 a meal. only catch is most of these places don't show up on booking sites so you gotta walk around or ask in the local FB groups.
