honestly if you want walkable cafes and coworking without the traffic madness, check out lavington. it's quieter than kilimani but still has decent spots like the lavington mall with a cafe and a small coworking space upstairs. rents are similar, maybe 55k to 80k for a furnished place, and you can walk to the sarit centre area in 15 minutes. just avoid anything too close to valley road if you hate noise

imo kileleni if you want that balance. it's a bit further from the city center but way more chilled than kilimani, and you can find furnished places for around 50k to 75k ksh. there's a decent coworking spot called workspace near the kileleni junction and a couple of cafes like the coffee shop at the green house mall. just be ready for matatus on ngong road if you need to get anywhere, it gets packed around 5pm

kilimani is probably your best bet for a month. it's safe enough, has a good number of cafes like artcaffe and brew bistros, and you can walk to places like the junction mall without needing a car every time. rent for a furnished one-bedroom will run you around 60,000 to 90,000 ksh depending on how close to argwings kodhek you get

if you want more of a quiet residential vibe with decent coworking, try spring valley. it's less walkable to cafes but feels calmer, and you can find good airbnbs in that range too. just avoid westlands for a long stay, it gets noisy and traffic on waiyaki way is a nightmare in the evenings
