Bar with cider/all you can drink cider?

Hello there.

We all know of bars with all you can drink beer. But are there bars in Tokyo doing the same with other drinks? (Top of my head cider for instance?)

Thank you

cider nomihoudai is pretty much a unicorn in tokyo tbh. if you're just after a place that has a lot of cider options without the unlimited gimmick, check out cider bar 林檎 (ringo) in shibuya. they do flights so you can try a bunch and the owner's really into small batch ciders from aomori and nagano. for the all-you-can-drink thing, you're probably better off finding a place that lets you add a nomihoudai option with your meal, like some izakayas will let you pick from a menu that includes a couple ciders, but it's always the standard strongbow or somersby

honestly, cider all-you-can-drink is pretty rare here. most places that do tabehoudai/nomihoudai just include a standard apple cider from a can or bottle, not a proper craft one. if you want a good selection of imported ciders, try the craft beer chain popeye in ryogoku, they have a few bottles but it's not all-you-can-drink.

there's a place called the irish pub the auld penny in shinjuku that sometimes runs a cider nomihoudai special on weekdays, like 2000 yen for 90 minutes. it's mostly magners and strongbow though, not the fancy stuff. worth checking their instagram before going since they change the deal pretty often.

for something different, nihonbashi's cider house actually does a nomihoudai focused on japanese ciders, about 2500 yen for 2 hours. they have maybe 8-10 varieties including some from aomori and nagano. it's a small standing bar so get there early on weekends

ant'n bee in shimokita is solid for actual cider but if you're set on the all-you-can-drink route there's an izakaya chain called torikizoku where the nomihodai includes kirin's hard cider. it's not craft stuff but it's drinkable and the price is right like 1500 yen for 2 hours. just know it's not gonna be dry english cider, it's sweet japanese style

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
