Good shout on the shika, though I'd ask about the molar beforehand since some only do cleanings. Did the 3,500 cover the x-ray too or was that separate?
Do they do surgical extractions there or just simple pulls? My molar's cracked below the gumline, and I've heard some clinics refer those out to an oral surgeon. Worth knowing before I book.
Seconding that clinic, and the 3,500 was just the extraction, the panoramic x-ray added roughly 1,200 yen on top.
That clinic books out fast after work hours so call right when they open if you want a slot before the weekend.
also bring your 保険証 & expect the 3,500 to be the 3割 co-pay, not the full whack
Any dentist taking 社保 will quote you upfront, but call ahead since molar pulls near Ironhouse book out a week.
