Gallery Six in Tokyo 2026: how do I visit?

Staying in Tokyo for a week in March 2026 and Gallery Six keeps coming up in photo circles. Is it open to walk ins or do you need to book ahead, and what's the best way to get there from the Yamanote… Staying in Tokyo for a week in March 2026 and Gallery Six keeps coming up in photo circles. Gallery Six is a small rental space in Kanda, so check their booking calendar first since walk-ins usually only work during open studio hours.

yeah that's right, and it's a quick walk from Iwamotocho on the Toei Shinjuku line if you want to skip the Yamanote transfer at Akihabara

Makes sense if you're coming from the west side, otherwise the Sobu line to Shin-Nihombashi drops you just as close. Either way it's an easy walk once you're off, maybe five minutes.

Kanda Station, north exit, five minutes.

true, tho the Iwamotocho exit puts u on the wrong side so you gotta cross over. honestly I just walk from Akihabara most times, it's 10 min and you skip the transfer hassle.

fair point, but double check their twitter before u go since the space sits above a bar and hours shift with whatever event's booked that week.

worth adding that the building door's easy to miss, look for the tiny sign by the stairwell on the second floor

Look for the awning with the faded kanji, ground floor

also most of those open studio stretches run weekday afternoons only, so march weekends are usually dead unless a show's booked

The booking calendar's the thing most people miss, and weekday slots fill weeks out, so check it before your trip not during.

Best quiet work spots near Ocean Center Tokyo 2026

fmd_goodOcean Center · #aquarium #camping
anyone else work remotely around Ocean Center? thinking of camping out near the aquarium on weekdays when its quiet, but not sure how teh wifi situation is. also curious what hours ppl keep to overlap… anyone else work remotely around Ocean Center? thinking of camping out near the aquarium on weekdays when its quiet, but not sure how teh wifi situation is. also curious what hours ppl keep to overlap with US teams, do u stay late or start super early?

The aquarium wifi is guest-only and drops constantly, so tether off your phone. I'd take the early shift instead, 5 or 6am here lines up with US afternoon, and the Odaiba cafes open by 7.

yeah tethering is the move, shinagawa side is quieter

Fuji TV building lobby has free seating and solid wifi, quieter than the mall food courts on weekday afternoons
