if u go on a weekday theres barely anyone till 12:30 so dont stress about timing. also the coin lockers by the entrance fill up quick, bring a small bag or u'll be stuck holding a jacket all night. sound-wise i'd still take the main room over anywhere else in Shibuya for disco, the low end is just cleaner.

good call, though that hook by the bar gets crowded by 1 so i usually just wear something i can tie round my waist

honestly the Friday crowd at Strobe skews more toward the regulars now, so if u want the disco stuff proper, Saturday is where it's at. last few times I went the floor didn't lock in till like 1:30. also check the basement room, it's smaller but the selectors there dig deeper than the main floor. fwiw the 3000 yen with a drink is still the standard, they haven't bumped it.
the basement gets sweaty fast so grab a spot near the stairs before 2, that little vent corner is the move
