weekday mornings r the move now, sat queue starts around 7:40 & the layout killed the old corner table i used to camp at
still opens 7 on sat, got there at 7:10 last month and had my pick of seats. coffee's held up, the layout just made the window counter tighter so it feels busier than it is. go before 8 & ur fine

the window counter thing is real but the back room by the washroom stayed quiet when i went at 7:15

7:10's the sweet spot, pastries go by 9
Coffee quality hasn't slipped but the pastry case got smaller and the seating is more first-come chaos now.

The madeleines are the sleeper hit, better than the fancy entremets. Go on a weekday right at 10am opening, weekends the queue snakes down the block by 10:30. It's a bit out of the way but worth it if you're already in the area.
