yeah the shared line thing is real but honestly the bigger factor for calls is your router. the stock one from the provider chokes under load, swapping to a decent one fixed my zoom drops completely. what provider u on now?
Check if your building is wired for hikari fiber first, since many older mansions only offer VDSL and that's what actually tanks your calls.
