The far-side loop past Nihon-ji rewards you with real raptor sightings, but bring proper shoes, the descent is slick after rain.

Two hours is optimistic unless you time the ferry at Hamakanaya right, the Keisei and JR connections through Kisarazu eat twenty minutes. Go on a weekday morning, the ropeway queue on weekends kills the whole point of an early start.
