Crumb's shokupan is the sleeper hit, better than the croissants people queue for. Weekends after 9am the line snakes past the corner, so go on a weekday or right at opening.
Line's worse on Saturday, go Sunday instead.

good call, theyre usually down to a couple by 10:30 tbh, and the mentaiko one goes even faster

the 4th sat monthly is teh one, crowd's older and they dont oversell so theres actually room to dance
4th sat is solid but they've been quietly cutting the guest list lately so get there before 11 if u want in without hassle.

midweek is where it's at tbh. wednesdays are cheap (like 2000 with a drink) and the crowd is mostly locals who actually came for the music, not photos. weekend guest nights get packed with groups treating it like a bar. check their twitter before u go, they post set times day of and sometimes cancel quietly
honestly the room redo helped the low end a lot, mids are still a bit muddy right at the bar side. i go mostly for the resident nights on the 2nd and 4th fri, cover's usually 3000 yen with a drink, guest nights push 4000 and are hit or miss. soundwise bring earplugs, they run it hot since the new stacks went in
