Stone & Barrel is still pouring as of this spring, they kept the brewery side going even after the kitchen changed hands. The blocks toward the river have gotten quieter since the big office tenants thinned out, which honestly made evenings nicer. If you want a short walk to a pint and don't mind fewer late-night options nearby, it's still a solid place to live.
Agreed on the quieter evenings, though the 7-Eleven by the station still saves you after the kitchen shuts at 9.

I was in there Tuesday and the board now shows 780 yen until 7, up from 500. Weeknights still beat weekends because you actually get a seat at the counter. Pop into Watering Hole on the same block if it's packed.
