Best pub near The Crown in Tokyo 2026?
I was there on a Tuesday last spring and it was pretty chill until about 9, then fills up. The Crown is in Roppongi so eating before is smart, the food nearby skews pricey. There's a decent yakitori place a couple blocks toward Azabu Juban that's cheaper than anything on the main strip. Weeknights r prob your best bet for actually getting a seat.
Second this, the 9pm crush is real.

worth noting they take reservations, walk-ins on a Friday can wait 40 min at the door.

yeah same goes for sat, though the queue moves faster after midnight
solid call. the soba with duck at the Gonpachi counter is the move, and the walk back is like 15 min if you cut past the cemetery. just don't roll in after 8 on a weekend without a booking
cutting past the cemetery only works if the gate's still open, they lock it around 5 so take the shotengai route instead

Tapped's maybe 6-7 min on foot from the station, easy. For something different try Mikkeller Tokyo near Shibuya, or if u want tiny and local, Watering Hole in Yoyogi does great Japanese taps.
