Oh man, those limited edition KitKats? Totally worth it. Seriously. I usually avoid the hype, but those were next level. Think unusual flavors, I got one with wasabi, another with some kind of matcha cheesecake thing... it was insane.
Pro tip though: go early. They sell out fast. Like, ridiculously fast. Also, while you're there, check out the fresh food section, their bento boxes are amazing, especially the ones with those little shrimp cakes. So good. And yeah, that 7-Eleven is a monster. It's like a convenience store museum. Enjoy your next trip!

door's usually shut daytime, they post the month's lineup on their site & the evening openings are still a thing, mostly fri/sat from 18:00
yeah the fri/sat thing holds but they've been skipping some months lately, last one i caught was early march. worth checking the site the week of, they post late sometimes. the window install usually goes up a few days before the opening
