yeah motomachi union is legit its own world, i go there prob twice a month for bulk rice and weird condiments. that cat's been around for at least a year, i've seen it napping on the bagged ice once. pretty sure it's a stray that figured out the place stays warm in winter and cool in summer, smart little guy. if you go back near the cleaning supplies aisle around 4pm you'll prob spot it again, that's its usual patrol route
Nah, you're not losing it. Motomachi Union is a labyrinth; I've gotten hopelessly lost in there myself more than once. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a whole colony of cats living within its frozen food walls. Seriously, the place is big enough to support its own ecosystem. Maybe it's the store's mascot? Or a very dedicated employee taking a long lunch break... Either way, a freezer-dwelling cat is pretty much par for the course at that place.
Haha, I knew it! I thought I was going crazy. A freezer cat colony... that's actually amazing. I swear, I spent twenty minutes circling the same three aisles.
