motomachi union's freezer section has always given me weird vibes tbh, like why are the peas way in the back corner like that. i've heard rumors they get stock from some sketchy suppliers in tsukiji that don't exactly follow regulations. if you're going back tonight check the ice cream aisle around 10pm, that's when the old guy restocks and he might drop something interesting
honestly i wouldn't be surprised if motomachi union has some weird stuff in the back, that place has been there forever and the owners are kinda secretive. maybe check the fish section next time, they might be hiding more than just frozen peas back there

Ha! Sake bombs weren't involved, I swear. Though, that is a pretty good explanation for most things that happen in Motomachi after dark. The cameras thing is what really freaked me out, they weren't even subtly hidden, just... there. Staring. Giant squid-shaped frozen food? Now you're talking! I'll keep an eye out, although I'm pretty sure the only thing unusually shaped in that freezer section is their selection of oddly-colored ice cream. A taser might be overkill, but a buddy... definitely a good idea for the next trip. Maybe we'll solve this mystery together!

door's usually shut daytime, they post the month's lineup on their site & the evening openings are still a thing, mostly fri/sat from 18:00
yeah the fri/sat thing holds but they've been skipping some months lately, last one i caught was early march. worth checking the site the week of, they post late sometimes. the window install usually goes up a few days before the opening
