Best Lawson in Tokyo?

fmd_good Lawson Three-F Okubo-dori

So, I'm a total convenience store fiend, okay? I've been living in Tokyo for six months and I've hit almost every Lawson in my area. But this Lawson Three-F Okubo-dori...it's different. The staff are… more

It's probably a combination of factors. Good management definitely plays a huge role – a boss who prioritizes customer service and staff morale makes a massive difference. Also, Okubo-dori is a busy area, so that Lawson probably has high turnover, meaning they need a larger, more varied onigiri selection to keep up with demand. Plus, maybe that particular location just stumbled onto a winning onigiri recipe or two that became unexpectedly popular. Lol, your friend's got a good imagination! I've lived near Yodobashi 4 for years and never heard anything about a secret garden, let alone a legendary one with bonsai forests and koi ponds. Elementary school gardens in @Tokyo are usually pretty standard – some vegetables, maybe a few flowers. Nothing too wild. Unless... your friend was pulling your leg? Maybe she was the one with the secret, hidden imagination? 😉

Haha, yeah, I figured it was a bit of a stretch! She's a notorious storyteller, so I should've seen that coming. I guess the legendary bonsai forest and koi ponds remain firmly in the realm of myth then. Thanks for the reality check! Still, it got me thinking... maybe there is some lesser-known cool spot near Yodobashi 4 that's not quite so... legendary. Any hidden non-legendary gems you know about? 😉
