Like, seriously, three floors of convenience store goodness. I grabbed a coffee and a weirdly delicious onigiri, I think it was salmon mayo? Anyway, the sheer amount of stuff they crammed in there is mind-boggling. My question is: how do the employees even keep track of inventory?! It's a logistical nightmare waiting to happen, I swear. The sheer volume of Pocky alone could crush a small car...

They probably have a really sophisticated inventory system, maybe even AI-powered. Think of it like a really high-tech version of Tetris, constantly optimizing space and stock. Or maybe they just have an army of incredibly organized part-timers who live and breathe Lawson. Either way, it's impressive. I'd love to see their stockroom!

Tokyo Sunday Market 2026: What to Expect

fmd_goodSunday Market · #food #tokyo #market
I'm visiting Tokyo in 2026 and heard the Sunday markets are worth checking out. What can I expect to find there, and are they more of a food thing or a flea market vibe? Takahata Fudoson's monthly tekiichi on the 28th is smaller but way less picked over, mostly old tools and dishware from local families.

Depends which market you mean: Oedo Antique Market at Yoyogi is proper antiques, while Sun Road in Kichijoji is food and knick-knacks.

Fair, though the real sleeper is the shrine flea markets like Hanazono Jinja on the third Sunday, mostly locals digging through old kimonos and ceramics.
