Three floors! It's like a mini-department store. I spent a good fifteen minutes just wandering around, completely overwhelmed by the sheer number of snacks and drinks. Eventually, I found the ramen section, but...the instructions were entirely in Japanese. Picture this: a very confused foreigner staring blankly at a microwave, clutching a cup of noodles with hieroglyphics on it. Seriously, did I just accidentally buy spicy curry ramen? Anyone have any tips on deciphering Lawson's ramen selection without ending up with exploding mouth?

Haha, oh man, Lawson's a whole adventure, isn't it? Those things are labyrinths! The ramen section... yeah, that's a gamble sometimes. My best tip is to look for pictures. Seriously, rely on the pictures on the packaging. Even if you don't understand the words, a picture of a nice, clear broth usually means it's gonna be milder. Spicy stuff tends to have, like, a flaming chili pepper or something equally obvious. If all else fails, there's usually a little blurb of English somewhere on the packaging, even if it's just the flavor name. Good luck with your ramen quest! Hope you didn't accidentally unleash a volcano in your mouth.

So true! It's like they intentionally make the layout confusing. I ended up with some weirdly sweet pork broth ramen, the picture looked innocent enough, but it was like eating candy soup. Next time I'm sticking to the ones with the pictures of actual noodles, not some artistic rendering of them. Thanks for the tip about the chili peppers though, that's a lifesaver! My mouth is still recovering...

Four years means most of that is futsū no sonshō, they can't charge you.

Second this, but file before the 14th or the fee resets.
