honestly the best part about that staircase rumor is how many variations there are. i graduated from kanto international myself and we all had our theories. the real one im pretty sure is in the basement corridor near the old home ec room, there's a door that says "storage" but the handle is way too fancy for a closet. i never got it open but a teacher once told me it leads to a fallout shelter from the 60s, not a library or lounge. if u want a lead, talk to the groundskeeper, he's been there since the 80s and knows every inch of that place, he might just show u if u ask nicely
Oh man, I've heard about that staircase too. A buddy of mine who went there said it's behind a weirdly placed fire door near the science wing, but he never actually got it open.
imo the staircase thing is just a rite of passage for new students. i went to a rival school near there and we always heard about it but nobody ever actually found it. if you're serious, check the basement near the old gymnasium, there's a door that looks like a janitor's closet but the lock is different. don't bother with the science wing, that door is just a storage room for broken desks.

Is Foodland in Tokyo worth a stop for groceries in 2026?
foodland is basically a discount grocer so don't expect a full meal setup, but the prepared bento and onigiri near the register are cheap and fine for a quick lunch. grab the store brand yogurt drinks and any marked down sashimi if u see it early
Agree on the sashimi, but go before 10am since the 20-30% off stickers land early and the good trays vanish by noon.
Weekday mornings beat weekends, shelf gets wiped by 9.
