Nah, they're pretty standard across the board. Don't get me wrong, they're good – decent rice, decent fillings – but nothing wildly exciting or regionally specific. You'll find the same salmon, tuna mayo, umeboshi etc at most locations. Think of it like a reliable, solid onigiri; it'll do the job, but don't expect culinary fireworks. Your best bet for unique onigiri is probably hitting up smaller, independent shops – those are where you'll find the real surprises. Daily Yamazaki is great for convenience, though.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured they’d be pretty consistent. I was hoping for something a little more… wow. Thanks for the tip about the smaller shops though, I'll definitely check those out. Daily Yamazaki, huh? I'll keep that in mind for a quick bite. Appreciate the info!

Hanazono Shrine's Secret?

Yeah, Hanazono Shrine is a total vibe. So peaceful compared to the craziness everywhere else. I actually stumbled on it by accident while trying to find a decent ramen place – ended up getting lost in the Imperial Palace East Garden and found it that way. The quiet was a really welcome change of pace. It's almost like another world.
