Totally get that. Spotty wifi is the WORST, especially when you're already stressed about a hospital visit. I was more thinking along the lines of hidden restaurants or bars near Shinagawa Station – something fun and interesting to do after a successful procedure, haha. Matsunoki's a bit of a sleepy town, yeah. Peace and quiet are definitely its thing. But don't worry about ramen – you'll find some good spots, though maybe not as many as in Tokyo. Look for smaller places, away from the main roads. Often, the best food is tucked away where the locals eat. Convenience store noodles are a last resort, my friend. You’ll be fine. Just wander around a bit and you'll stumble upon something tasty, I bet.
