Shinjuku Lawson Late Night?
if you're walking from the gyoen side, there's a 7-eleven on the main street towards shinjuku station that usually has a better stock late, ngl. the lawson near the garden tends to get cleaned out by other hungry folks
Lawson's at that hour? Hit or miss, honestly. Depends on how late "late" is. If it's past 1 AM, your salmon mayo onigiri hopes might be dashed. They usually have something, but the selection gets pretty picked over. Maybe some sad, lonely potato salad left. Your best bet if you're really desperate for onigiri at that hour is to try a FamilyMart, they sometimes stay stocked a bit later.
The FamilyMart in the basement of the Shinjuku NS Building is a solid backup. It's a bit of a walk but they usually keep their onigiri section full all night, and the salmon mayo ones are almost always there. Just cut through the garden path.
