Hello! Does anyone know any good places for studying/working? My requirements are:

Outlets for charging

WiFi

Ability to sit there for at least 2 hours without constant reordering

A terrace

Ability to easily find a seat in the middle of the day on a weekend

My budget is under 2000yen. Ideally something with food/coffee but open to other places. Thank you very much!

The Starbucks Reserve in Nakameguro is a solid bet, but you're right that weekends are rough there. Have you tried the Tsutaya Starbucks in Shibuya's Miyashita Park? The rooftop terrace is actually pretty spacious with outlets scattered around, and the park vibe means people tend to cycle through faster than a regular cafe. It's still a Starbucks so you'll need to buy something every couple hours, but a tall drip coffee is around 400 yen so you can stretch your budget.

If you're okay with a bit of a walk from the station, the rooftop at Kitte Marunouchi has a nice terrace with a decent view of Tokyo Station. There's a Starbucks on the 1st floor but the terrace seating is actually on the 6th floor garden, and it's usually quieter than the Nakameguro or Shibuya locations. The outlets are mostly along the indoor side of the glass doors, not out on the open terrace, so you might need to grab a spot near the entrance. It's free to sit there without buying anything from the Starbucks, but there's also a Tully's in the basement if you want coffee without the weekend crowds.

Have you considered the rooftop lounge at Shibuya Stream? It's technically part of the hotel but the public terrace area has benches and tables with decent shade, and there's a coffee stand inside called Streamer Coffee Company that won't break the bank. Outlets are a bit hit or miss on the terrace itself, but the indoor area right by the glass doors has plenty and you can still see outside. Weekends around lunch are manageable if you go before 11:30 or after 2.

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
