They seemed to be the best priced and had more of what I like (Pokémon plushies, Japanese promo cards and GBA games) I can't remember which ones were bigger though. I'm only going to be there for 2 days so don't have the time to go to them all. Which stores are biggest? Or any other recommendations would be highly appreciated.

honestly the biggest one I've been to is the one in Akihabara, it's a few floors right near the station and has a solid GBA section. the one in Nakano Broadway is decent sized too but it's more cramped and harder to browse imo

if you're pressed for time I'd skip the smaller ones like the one in Shinjuku, it's tucked away and the selection felt thinner last time I was there. the Akiba one should cover most of what you want in one go

if you're only here 2 days and want the biggest selection in one spot, try the surugaya in ikebukuro's sunshine city. it's not as talked about as akiba but the floor space is bigger and less crowded on weekdays. they have a whole corner of gba games and a rack of promo cards near the register that's usually better stocked than the akiba one.

also worth knowing the surugaya in nakano broadway is actually two separate shops on different floors, not one big store. the one on the second floor has more plushies and the basement one has games. easy to miss if you're just walking through

i'd actually recommend the one in ikebukuro instead of akiba if you're short on time. it's in the sunshine city complex near the pokemon center so you can hit both in one trip. the gba games are on the third floor and they usually have a bin of loose pokemon plushies for like 300 yen each. just keep in mind the gba carts are behind glass so you'll need to flag a staff member to look at them

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
