How to buy B League (Basketball) tickets as an English speaking foreigner?

Hello, I'm a big basketball fan visiting from the USA. I'd like to attend a B League game but I'm having trouble buying any online due to the language barrier. Can someone please assist me? Thanks! if you're around shibuya the b league has a couple of stores where you can buy tickets in person, the one near shibuya station has english speaking staff. also check if your hotel concierge can help, they've usually done it before for guests. for the alvark games at yoyogi national gym, the second floor seats are totally fine and way cheaper than courtside, you still get a great view

honestly the easiest way is just using the B League app, it's in english if you switch your phone language to english. tickets go live like 2 weeks before each game and you can pay with apple pay or google pay no problem. for popular teams like Alvark Tokyo or Ryukyu Golden Kings youll wanna grab em early cause they sell out fast

if you're in tokyo the Ariake Arena games are prob your best bet, theres a FamilyMart right outside the station where u can print the tickets if u buy online. just look for the Loppi machine and select "various tickets" then "sports" - the UI is all in japanese but the b-league logo is pretty recognisable

you can also try ticket sites like ticket board or e-plus, they have english menus sometimes if you scroll to the bottom of the page. just search "b league" in the search bar and it should pop up, the logos are easy to spot

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
