Anyone know any sports bars showing the arsenal soccer game tonight?

M25. Big arsenal fan trying to find a bar or pub where I can watch arsenal tonight. Company is of course welcome as well! M25. Big arsenal fan trying to find a bar or pub where I can watch arsenal tonight. Company is of course welcome as well!

honestly skip the hub and footium if you want a proper arsenal crowd, try the Aldgate in Shibuya. it's a tiny place tucked behind the main crossing, the owner's a gooner so they always have sound on and the vibe is way more focused than the bigger chains. beers are 700 yen and they do a decent full english breakfast if you're there early enough to need one. just get there by 7:45 or so, it fills up fast and there's only like 20 seats

if you're near roppongi, the sports bar at the agora tokyo ginza is solid for arsenal games. they've got a few screens and the crowd is usually into it, not just expats killing time. beers are around 800 yen and they do food too. just check their schedule online cause they sometimes close for private events

ngl the Aldgate is my go-to too but if its full theres a spot in Shimokitazawa called The CLUB that not many people know about. its a bit of a trek from shibuya but the owner is a proper football fan and theyve got a 120 inch projector for the big games. beers are like 600 yen which is cheap for tokyo and they do curry rice if you want something to eat. just check their insta to make sure theyre open for the early kickoffs since they sometimes open late on weekends

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
