Is there any apps or keyword on Google maps ?

Where do you usually go when you have a girl, normal hotel or "love hotel" ?

When I search ラブホテル on Google maps, I get a lot of normal hotels and I don't really want to waste my time walking around with a girl to find a love hotel.

ngl the google maps thing is annoying because half the results are business hotels with love hotel in the name. try searching ラブホ instead of ラブホテル, that filters better. also check the building exterior - if it looks like a castle or a spaceship or has valet parking booths, that's ur spot

i usually just go to love hotels, normal hotels are awkward if you're not staying the night and they charge full rate anyway. love hotels in uguisudani or gotanda have a bunch within a 5 min walk of the station, no wandering needed. most show the room price on a digital sign outside so you can just walk past and decide

The Google Maps search works fine if you filter by "rest" or "short stay" in the hours section, that's the key. For apps, I've used ラブホテルサーチ (Love Hotel Search) a few times, it shows real-time availability and room photos so you're not guessing. Honestly, I usually just head to a cluster like Dogenzaka in Shibuya or the side streets near Shinjuku's Hanazono Shrine, there's like 20 in a two-block radius and you can see the prices posted outside. I'd skip normal hotels unless it's a proper date night, love hotels are cheaper and way more straightforward for casual plans.

Yeah just search ラブホテル on Google Maps and look for the ones with weird names or "休息" in the hours, that's the quickest way. Honestly I just use a love hotel app like Happy Hotel or check the area around Shibuya or Kabukicho, they're packed together so you won't have to wander far.

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
